Product description
Owned by Owen and Cassandra Inglis since 2004, Sidewood is already starting to get noticed. Highly respected critic James Halliday gave them a five-star rating in both the 2016 and 2018 editions of Wine Companion. Made by award winning winemakers whose CVs include top wineries such as Penfolds and Shaw & Smith, this delightful Chardonnay is up there to rival the big names of Burgundy, for a fraction of the price.
Extremely elegant, refined and perfectly balanced with fresh green apples, pear and melon flavours and just the right amount of oak to add complexity.

Parcels of clones 95 and 76, free-run juice direct to barrel, wild yeast fermentation, matured for 10 months in French oak. An elegant, tightly focused wine built on grapefruit and white peach fruit flavours. The length and balance are very good.
