About the producer: Château Giscours
Château Giscours is one of the largest Margaux properties with over 80ha of vineyards. The Château has a long and rich history dating back to the 14th century. The first vines were planted around 1552 by Pierre de L’homme a wealthy Bordeaux Draper who bought a house and named it ‘Guyscoutz’. After its classification as a 3ème cru classé in 1855, the estate started to deteriorate until Pierre Tari bought the domaine in the 50s and, started the renovation of the estate. Today he shares the domaine with Eric Albada who invested in the latest technology and modernised the winery, and Château Giscours is regaining its fame. View our selection.
