    Pelassa are swiftly gaining a reputation amongst Piedmont’s best, winning awards and generating interest around the world. Exclusive to Davy’s.

    After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured in Slovanian and French wooden casks for 2 years and another 12 months in bottle. Complex nose with fresh crushed berries, violet and herbal notes. Velvety and rich on the palate with firm tannin and great length. A powerful wine.

    About the producer: Azienda Agricola Daniele Pelassa

    Located in Montà d’Alba, in the chalky Roero hills of Piedmont, the Pelassa family owns 12 hectares of vineyards focusing on the grapes best suited for the land: Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis. The present winery was created in 1960 by the late Mario Pelassa, who has been in the wine business for over 50 years. Today, his sons, Davide and Daniele, continue with the family tradition, expanding their winery into new markets. Pelassa adheres mainly to traditional methods of vinification, but has integrated modern techniques through the introduction of state-of-the-art equipment. Read more…

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
