Located between St Julien and Margaux, Château Beaumont aims to produce a rich and crowd-pleasing wine. They have hired consultant Eric Boissenot, a renowned oenologist in Bordeaux who is involved in many estates, in order to do so and the results are promising.
Nose full of fresh red and black fruits with subtle hints of spice. The palate is beautifully balanced, with stunning rich black fruits and full, fine and ripe tannins.

The vineyard of Beaumont, located between St Julien and Margaux was born in 1824 under Mr Bonnin. Thirty years later, the beautiful Renaissance mansard style castle, still occupied today, was built. After seeing a succession of owners, Château Beaumont was bought in 1986 by the GMF (Grands Millésimes de France) group, also owner of Château Beychevelle. With the aim of producing rich and crowd pleasing wine, they have hired consultant Eric Boissenot, a renown oenologist in Bordeaux who is involved in many estates including Château Latour, Château Margaux, Château Lafite-Rothschild and Château Mouton-Rothschild. The 113 hectares domaine lie in a single block with an average of twenty years old vine. It is planted with 53 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Wines spend 12 to 14 months in oak barrels, one-third of them renewed each year.

Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
