About the producer: Château Pichon Longueville Lalande
The Domaine Pichon Lalande, a 2ème cru classé located in Pauillac, was separated from Pichon Baron in 1850. In 1924 Edward Miailhe bought the Domaine, and fame started when his daughter, May-Eliane Lencquesaing who now resides in the Château, took over in 1978. Heavy investments were made to modernise the cellar which considerably improved the quality of the wines. The style is suppler than other Pauillac due to the proximity of St Julien and higher Merlot content. The quality has been consistently excellent for the last 30 years, rivalling with first growth quality. View our selection.
