Pelassa are swiftly gaining a reputation amongst Piedmont’s best, winning rewards and generating interest around the world. Nebbiolo 2013 was ‘Highly Recommended’ in Decanter Magazine’s June 2017 edition with 92pts and made it to the top three for both Andrea Briccalero and Susan Hulme MW.
Matured in Slavonian and French wooden casks for 12 months and another 12 months in bottle. Delicate scent of violet with raspberry fruits and notes of pepper. Velvety texture on the palate with good concentration of flavours and good length.

Based in Montà d’Alba, the Pelassa family has always produced wine from their own vineyard. Mario founded the Pelassa winery in 1960 and has since devoted all his time and passion to work in the vineyards alongside his wife, Maria Teresa. In 2000 their sons Davide and Daniele took over the domain and modernised the winery. Today, their wines are generating interest around the world.
