Port
Port is made from a unique blend of Portuguese indigenous grapes sourced from across the Douro valley. Once the required alcohol level is achieved during the winemaking process, a neutral grape spirit is added to the wine in order to stop the fermentation and keep a high level of residual sugar, giving port wine its signature sweetness.
With over 150 years in the wine business, we have built an extensive and enviable collection of Port wines, ranging across the various styles, including: Vintage Port; Tawny Port; Late Bottled Vintage and Ruby. Take a look at our blog on Port below to find out more about how Port is made and the different styles.
